Is it possible to prevent a user from changing list/library name?

Hi! Within the interface of a library or list, is it possible to directly change the name, like this: I want to prevent users from doing that, but they need to also be able to edit list...

Thanks for your reply. They are working on SharePoint Online. The link you sent is about SharePoint Server. I created a test account and found out that the users I am talking about indeed had edit permissions somewhere.. You're right! Thanks

Check out the Contribute permission level. Seems like your users have Edit or higher rights. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sharepoint/sites/user-permissions-and-permission-levels
