Is it possible to assign a person for a folder in Document Library?
I want to assign a person for a particular folder in Dcument library, I have added the column titled "Point of Contact". But when I upload a folder I am not able to assign a person. I am able to assi...
It is my understanding that folders by default do not accept metadata via the standard form. However, there is an easy workaround.
1. Make sure you are in a NON-GROUPED view
2. Click on "Quick Edit" in the command bar
3. Update the field you want
4. Click "Exit quick edit"
