Is their a way to change the icon here instead of using that MS Explorer icon?
I don't think there is any SharePoint out of the box way to change the icon when you check "Display Icon" option.
You may need to uncheck this option and add your custom image for each link.

- I just tried to check that and I found an IE icon then I want to the default icon but sad to know the icon could not be change 😞
