Information Management Policy not working in New Experience

When i create an Information Management Policy to make a document a record, the Classic view shows the correct icon for the Record (after the Policy has been implemented), but the new Modern view shows the file with a Checked Out icon instead of the expected Lock overlay on the file type icon. Is anyone else seeing this same bug?
