Incorrect site template applied when creating a Team Site via new/preview Admin Center
So, I noticed something very strange this morning. A colleague went into the Admin Center Preview and created a new "Team Site" (from "Other Options", not a Team Site with a Group). When the site was created, it was using the Document Center template, rather than Team Site. Thinking he may have clicked something incorrectly, I went through the same steps and the exact same thing happened.
Is anyone else seeing this happen in their tenants?
Also, FWIW, I created a Team Site on Wednesday (1/16/19) using the exact same process and it created with the Team Site template.
- Seems a bug IMHO...best here is to report this problem via support ticket
FYI, this was a bug in the Preview Admin Center. The issue was fixed earlier this week and I've created several non-Group Team Sites without issue since then.
