In Place Record Declaration not working in New Experience

I'm not even seeing options such as Check out in the New experience, I have to "switch to classic" to get them. And it's really starting to get on my nerves...
- The Check Out option is there...you have it on the actions bar when selecting a document and also when showing the ECB menu for the selected item
