If check-out enabled in SharePoint no edit file with OneDrive for Business sync client
Hello,
I remember that with old versions of sync client OneDrive for Business it was possible to enable the check-in/check-out property in SharePoint and locally edit a document and then sync.
Now with the last sync I can't edit the files and have a message of error that I have no permission; it seems that the issue is related to this:

and there is a UserVoice with 691 votes here:

Now, there is an update, please: for me the sync client in unusable without this funcionality.

MarcoMangianteIM It is still not implemented, and what more. It is not documented. There is no oficial information what onedrive supports.

It seems like this is still an issue. I use the sync client and set a lot of folders to "always keep on device". After setting the sSarepoint library to require check out, I can't edit the document.
- I expect we will have some good news around this at Ignite....this issue is well known and I have several customers that are asking me why Microsoft has not added this functionality in the new sync client
