Can an SPOnline tenant be connected to multiple SP 2016 farms that are being replicated with one another?

You can configure multiple SharePoint 2016 farms to be connected to the same SharePoint Online environment for hybrid functionalities such as search. Not sure what you mean with "replicated" though...

Yeah, need to know what replicated means. For example, if you have two farms with the same content, you should not use CSSA on one of those farms; instead you can share the service app with the other farm.

In this scenario, we are considering a tool like Metalogix Replicator to replicate multiple identical SharePoint farms that will be on cruise ships. When the ships get reconnected to the internet, they will replicate their changed content to corporate HQ (onshore). I'm wondering if it would be better to have HQ connected to SPOnline w/Hybrid features or to have every ships farm hybrid enabled.&nbsp;

Well, you wouldn't hybridize the replicated farms for search specifically. Do the ships always have adequate Internet access?
