Hub site navigation - top level requires URL
When you create a new navigation item in a hub site navigation, there is no option to leave the URL blank. The top level menu items have to link to something. If you leave it blank, you can't save it. If you add #, it links to the root. When you have sub items, the natural behavior is to click on the menu to see the children. This is causing a page reload.
Does anyone know a workaround to not have the top level navigation item link to anywhere?
Cannot click "OK" when Address is empty.

Just confirming we also have this problem and we're looking for a solution.

We also are having issues with this. Any word from Microsoft? Is the work being done with the megamenu (https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/Microsoft-SharePoint-Blog/Build-your-modern-intranet-with-SharePoint-in-Office-365/ba-p/255453) going to address this?

Thanks, John Wynne, for tagging Mark-Kashman.
I would really appreciate some feedback from someone on this. We rolled out the new hub site to a dozen people for testing, and as expected, it was disastrous. Almost to a person, they would click on the top menu item to see the children, resulting in a page reload. We are going to have to find another navigation solution if we want to roll this out.
