Hi All, I'm looking for a method of changing a News Page to a Site Page. These pages were created prior to the hub sites being rolled out, now they are showing up in the News sections of all pages. I'm familiar with the Promoted State column, but I haven't been able to find instructions on how to actually change the value in that column. I've seen references to using Flow but never any instructions on actually doing that. Any tips on this would be appreciated.Solved71KViews0likes60CommentsPreceived conflict on Hub Site between Hub Navigation and Site Navigation
Hi everyone, I'm currently testing via the developer program with various site and hub configurations, to learn best practices and develop a robust site architecture for a corporate intranet. I configured some (communication) site collections and chose one of them as a hub and associated the others to them – so far so good. By doing so I however, found something with the Navigation on the hub site that really confused me: First the straightforward part – the navigation which I configure on the hub site, the (normal main navigation) becomes the hub navigation (located on the top) for associated side collections. So, the hub site has no top navigation (or "hub" navigation"), which initially makes some kind of sense to me. But then I noticed on the hub site, when I scroll down on any of its pages there suddenly appears another navigation with totally different links – I assume its the normal site navigation of this site. However, this behavior is super confusing to me. First the hub navigation visually takes the place of the site navigation on the hub site, but then suddenly this navigation is gone and replaced by another navigation not present before and additionally letting the hub navigation disappear entirely. For me this is a clear conflict between the two navigations on the hub site and it renders clear issues in usability in my opinion. Does anyone has thoughts on this and noticed the same? Is this normal and wanted behavior? Thanks for any comments!391Views0likes0CommentsShow Lists from different sites on one Hub
Hey Everyone, Several teams have Sharepoint Lists in use at our company. Now we would like to display them in a Sharepoint Hub. The hub allows to display the list but unfortunately only the lists that were created on the hub. Thanks for any tips 🙂2.8KViews0likes4CommentsHow do you configure navigation for a Hub site? How do I know what to link to?
Do you really have to manually paste a URL when creating a new link in the Nav bar? How come it can't auto detect spoke sites that are part of the hub? There seems to be a missing link here unless I'm misunderstanding the purpose of a navigation bar and adding sites to a hub site...3.6KViews0likes4CommentsHub Visitors not replicating permissions to spoke sites
My Hub Visitors group is not replicating to the other spoke sites on the hub. I have updated via the actual permissions panel and by the quick permissions setting panel "Hub Permissions". All of my sites are set to sync these users. Not sure if anyone else has experienced this issue or is aware of a delay?Solved6.5KViews0likes6CommentsSharePoint Online Search Issue

Over the last 48 hours, users have reported that links on our Hub navigation are not launching. It seems to happen randomly for various browsers and users, and temporarily resolves itself with a page refresh. (But often returns after a future reload). It will often impact only part of the nav bar, and the area impacted will change after refreshing. Even for the impacted links, the "url preview" still seems to display in the bottom of the browser-- it just isn't launching the page. I inspected the code for both functioning and non-functioning links at the element level. They appear to be identical. Is anyone else experiencing this? We're using the Mega Menu.1.3KViews0likes3CommentsSharePoint Hub Navigation Disappears in Associated Sites
Related to Support Case #: 13560063 We are relying heavily on the hub navigation to help our users move between sites in our Intranet, Extranet, and Functions Hubs. We've recently added the "everyone except external users" group to the Site Assets and Site Pages libraries on all sites to allow visibility to home pages. However, we're finding that intermittently the hub navigation when going to a home page will not work. We can work around this by clearing caches, going to the hub first, and then going back to the site page, but our goal is for this to be succinct navigation without going back and forth. How the page loads for an end user when navigating directly to the site page: And how the hub displays in that scenario when navigated back to: Vs. going directly to the hub first: How the page loads when going to the hub first (after cache has been cleared): And then to the site page: This seems to be related to caching the navigation, as when it is broken by going to the site page first, it is not resolved when navigating to the hub. Is there some level of security or permissioning that needs to be granted to users to allow them to have access to a site collection's hub navigation? I've tested with the libraries and security points that seem most logical but I haven't had any success.4.7KViews0likes4CommentsHub site navigation not showing when switched to classic experience on associated sites
Hi, we are having an issue setting up our new Intranet Hub Site. We already setup the Global Navigation in the root site using Mega Menu and it looks great however when we switched to associated site contents or just switching to classic experience, the Hub navigation disappeared and this will cause user experience issue having no way to navigate back or see the navigation. Any help and guidance is appreciated!Solved3KViews0likes1Comment
