How to set a default document view for an individual page?
I currently have two areas of my site I'd like to show files. One is the main library where all files are simply shown in one big list. The other is a 'useful resources' page where I'd like only specific files to be shown to the user, such as company guidelines, policies, etc.
I have configured a view which only shows files associated with 'useful resources', this view works perfectly fine. The issue I'm having is that when I'm on the useful resources page and select 'set as default view', it sets this view as default for the entire site. If I go back to the main library it now shows just the useful resources files and not all files.
Is there a way you can set the default view and assign it only to that specific page?
Thanks!

I am checking to see If my problem is the same as yours.
I have a list which collects information from our users.
- I have created views for our Schedulers so they can schedule/assign Tasks.
- I have created a view for the Task assigned to [ME] so a person can see only the task assigned to them
However unlike in SP 2010/13 - When I add the Scheduler View to a Page - the View I select does not get displayed only the default View is displayed on the page.
In SharePoint 2010 for example I can show just the view on a page without the default view popping up all the time.
Is this the fix/consideration for the new release
Thanking you in advance for your help it is greatly appreciated
- DeletedI guess this functionality is in targeted release now so if you are not on that please wait as the webpart gets updated.
