HELP! SharePoint Online File Viewer Menu Not Showing

Hi there,

Here is a pic from one of my sites:

I have a menu on my File Viewer Word Documents. 

 

But then I created a new site, and there are no menus (see below) Can someone please explain to me how to fix this? I've been working on it for 3 hours now.

    Is your new Site modern UI vs old site classic? They won't have the same functionality since they are different webparts if that is the case.

      Not sure. How do I go about making changes so that I can get the menus at the bottom. Sorry, I'm clearly a newb.

        I checked, Modern pages has the menu as well. Are you sure both file types are docx? If you're using another file format there, it wont' have the same menu as it's based on file type itself. I would check that first.
