Guest access expiration vs Entitlement Management
What happens if you:
- Set the 'Guest access to a site or OneDrive will expire automatically' setting in the SharePoint admin center to 90 days.
- Grant a guest access to a SharePoint site for 180 days through an Entitlement Management access package.
Does the guest expiration policy kick in at 90 days regardless?

Hi 2251069034,
If you have both the "Guest access to a site or OneDrive will expire automatically" setting and an Entitlement Management access package granting guest access to a SharePoint site, the expiration policy in the access package takes priority over the admin center setting.
In this case, the guest access will not expire after 90 days (as set in the admin center) if the access package grants access for a longer period, such as 180 days. The expiration period specified in the access package will be followed, and the admin center setting will not be applied.

LeonPavesic Thank you for your response, and that's what I was hoping for. Is that documented anywhere, or is this from your own observations? The reason I ask is that we're on an Azure Government tenant (GCC High), and we've experienced more than one undocumented difference with Azure Commercial.
Thanks!
