Gap on bottom of iOS Safari after orientation change

On any SharePoint site (modern or classic) on iPhone Safari, going from portrait to landscape back to portrait results in a gap at the bottom of the page. You have to pinch/zoom out to get the page to snap back into place at the correct size.
