Filtering Entire Library for Metadata
Hi all!
I've been working to set up my Sharepoint site as a photo library. To that end I've:
Migrated about 400GB of photos.
Created managed metadata tags.
Set up the filter system to pull...

It includes a response from a Microsoft person. There is no simple solution for your problem. Switching from MM to regular site columns is not trivial.
