External Users in SharePoint Online
Is the only way to allow external users into a SharePoint site require them to set up a Microsoft account?

Mar 08, 2018Depending on the data you are requesting, you could use Microsoft Forms to collect the data and put it into SharePoint lists using Flow.
But in order to fill out any forms via SharePoint you have to authenticate, there is no current anonymous form access with out of the Box 365 other than Forms.
As for custom security authentication your opening a major can of worms with that one if it's even doable :P. Lots of development or some kind of possible 3rd party tool that may do something like that, but in that case you might be better off looking at one of the forms 3rd party providers out there that tie into SharePoint online. Pretty sure they support some easier external form submission techniques.
