Export or compile wiki pages into a PDF or Word
I wouldn't bother with the SharePoint wiki offering, it has always been rubbish, hasn't been developed in any meaningful way since at least 2010 and has always been a long long way behind proper wiki platforms like Wikimedia, Wikidot etc.

Rob_Elliottany other platform that you would recommend? Preference in the MS stack otherwise outside.
Keeping things in the M365 universe, have a look at Microsoft Loop which looks as though it will be a much better solution that the SharePoint wiki. Thewre's a blog about it at https://easy365.io/why-our-team-chose-microsoft-loop-as-our-wiki-1d5275f7bdac

That is exactly what I am using, unfortunately it wont, just yet, fulfil the initial requirements that I shared. I guess Atlassian Confluence is still out there at the top for documentation creation..
It's quite a few years since I last used Confluence but it is still out there and certainly used to be one of the best wiki platforms.
