Exclude Site from Tenant Level/Global SharePoint Search

Hi All,

looking for some feedback from the community. Is there a way to exclude a site collection from tenant Level (Global search) search, but still retail the local site collection/site level search?

      Hi David,
      Thank you for your feedback. Quick Question: just to clarify, the change you are proposing above, will prevent the particular site and all it's contents from appearing in the Global/Tenant level SharePoint search, however the local (Site level) search will still work. Can you please clarify.

        Hello Ajay Mandal

         

        when you active this option, the site and all it's content well not appearing in any search, not in Global/Tenant search, and also not in site level search.

         

        You cannot exclude a site from the index and still search for it. then you would have to work with authorizations.
