Excel file not saving/displaying properly

Hi, 

Not too sure if anyone has experienced this also but we have 3 users using this excel file on a site and the users are not able to see updates that are done by other users. When they open the file in the browser, they are able to see updates, however when the file is opened in the desktop application, no updates are visible and there is an error pop-up as attached. However, I am able to see updates on both ap and browser. We have tried different and the same browsers but the issue still persists.

We have even made a copy of the file but still the same issue.
