Error with Managed Meta Navigation
Recently our managed metadata navigation has been throwing up errors:
Error loading navigation: The Managed Navigation term set is improperly attached to the site. (Correlation ID: a5591d9e-4073-4000-6ff3-e92bc564aa02)
I've checked and the only solution I could find was to change it to structural navigation and then back to managed, refresh a few times and it appears to come back. The problem is it keeps coming back and when I do it on one site collection, another site collection starts showing the error.
Any ideas?
Managed Naviagtion isn't support across multiple site collections. When you apply the same navigation to multiple site collection you will get a warning and break it in the first site collection!

I had the same earlier today after I applied managed navigation to a site. We had a lot of performance issues ( page load of 40 seconds) and managed navaigation resolved this issue ( down to 4-6 seconds).
I got your error a few times, Ctrl-F5 (sometimes a few times) resolved these issues and it seems to be stable now. I only have a single site collection so managed navigation seems to be the right thing.
I wonder if there were updates installed in my tenant.
- interesting.. I would have said the opposite, given you have one single site collection it's easier to have managed navigation in one site collection - having multiple site collections maintaining consistent navigation across 10-12 site collections seemed that Managed Navigation made sense there...
