Enterprise Keywords - Search

Hi folks,

I've enabled the "Add an Enterprise Keywords column to this list and enable Keyword synchronization"

I've added some keywords to documents and can see the keywords added to the term store.

My question is, can I search by keyword? If i just type in the keyword in search it will return anything with that name. If I do keywords:"term" it returns nothing. Do I have to configure something in the search settings?
