Enable-CommSite
Has anyone tried this powershell command on their root site? I saw it demoed at Ignite, but it was on a site that had no content. I'm wondering what happens to existing content and webparts, especially script editor blocks. We are on Sharepoint Online.
Thanks.
- It doesn't really do anything but apply the communication site template to the site with the Top nav etc. The existing page will be replaced by a new Blank Modern homepage. The old page would still be classic as none of the existing Script blocks etc. will work on ModernUI.
- To be precise, it does not apply the communicate site template on the root site...it just modernized so it looks like a communication site ;-)
