Enable-CommSite
Has anyone tried this powershell command on their root site? I saw it demoed at Ignite, but it was on a site that had no content. I'm wondering what happens to existing content and webparts, especial...
It doesn't really do anything but apply the communication site template to the site with the Top nav etc. The existing page will be replaced by a new Blank Modern homepage. The old page would still be classic as none of the existing Script blocks etc. will work on ModernUI.
- To be precise, it does not apply the communicate site template on the root site...it just modernized so it looks like a communication site ;-)
