Edit a item that is created using a calculated formula

Good day,

I am currently using a calculated formula to breakdown a file name into my Sharepoint list.  Unfortunately due to human error, sometimes the naming convention is not exact every time.  Due to this I would like to be able to update a metadata point of a list item manually.

How can this be achieved?
