Duplicated fields in List Gallery view
Are you using and checking same list view at both the places (default SharePoint list page and site page where list web part is added)?
You can select the required view in the list web part settings from SharePoint site page.

Yes, the list view shows the title only once, but the webpart shows twice. Strange, when I go to edit the view, Title shows up checked twice, but when I uncheck the 1 Title and save, go back in to List View Edit page, Title shows up checked twice again, so must be a bug/ or how it is designed. It only seems to be with Grid views
JHersch77 I just tested this on our SharePoint site and I am unable to reproduce this issue. Title is shown only once on both the pages.
