Dropdown selection not working
Hi, some of our users are not able make any selections from drop down lists in record or document Properties. They can't use the scrollbar to move up and down. I'm trying to establish if this is likely to be a SharePoint problem or a browser problem, the behaviour is the same in IE and Chrome.
The fields in question are Choice fields with 20+ options.
Our team is experiencing the same issues. It does not appear to be a browser problem. The issue experience is associated with the Modern Forms in Sharepoint. The Lookup fields in the drop down combo boxes no longer allow for selection by first letter. The user must scroll down the list.
Ultimately, it would be nice to have the drop down selection match fully typed fields. The single letter is an issue when the list contains hundreds of values with the same starting letter. Very tedious. Hopefully this short term issue is a result of rolling out newer updates to the form to allow the full type match. Anyone at MS know what's going on with this issue? ~ Thanks Jeff C.
