Dropbox Migration apparently completed but stuck finalizing
- keithp1860Sep 05, 2024Copper ContributorYes, if that's what the online tool is called. My only 'real world' issue is that I can't see the list of files that failed to copy (downloading a report only gives me the scan report it seems, maybe because it hasn't finalised?). Otherwise all seems ok, so I'm tempted just to leave it.
This is already the second run, I had the finalizing issue last time too. Both times no issues were detected at the scanning stage, so I'm at a loss to know why 169 files didn't copy or why isn't finalizing.- TheOGWarrenSep 05, 2024Brass Contributor
keithp1860 Ouch 2nd run also an issue. I wonder what the issue is, I would say open a support ticket, but they will probably take weeks to help you resolve 😞 maybe someone else on this forum has a better idea.

I completely deleted the previous site (I was partly testing anyway, as I am a Sharepoint newbie).
Just in case it is related, searching my libraries on line is returning no results. I don't know if it is a related issue. I have attempted to search for a file in a folder that I can see on screen, using just the filename in the search bar, also filename:test.ext, filename:"test.ext" etc. no results. I have made no modifications to Sharepoint, because frankly I wouldn't know how to. Wondering as the sites are newly populated via the migration if they need time to index but seems a bit odd.EDIT:
The default Document library is searchable.
The two new libraries I created on the site are not searchable. They are also the two with finalizing issues.
