Interesting that it doesn't work have you tried to open a support ticket with MSFT and checked with them?
- Not yet - was hoping to avoid that but will try now.
You have other options to bulk metadata update such as the Quick edit or the new bulk update panel...have you tried both?
Solved. The function works in Chrome, IE, Edge, Opera and Vivaldi but NOT Firefox. Will log with MS Support. Thanks for the suggestions all.
