Document understanding model...anyone know what it is?

Hi there,

 

I got all excited earlier when I went to go add a new list to one of my site collections, and discovered a new option there which I'm positive wasn't there last week...."Document Understanding Model".

 

Create and apply a model to classify files and extract information...sounds pretty cool. I did a bit of a google search and couldn't find anything about it.

 

Anyone point me in the right direction to find out a bit more?

    I’m seeing it as well in multiple tenants. It doesn’t seem to do much but allow me to give a name to a model.

    Pretty exciting. I can’t find anything articles on it.

      Tom Cantrell A bit of an update. One of my connections from LinkedIn posted on Twitter about this feature. There wasn't any absolute answer, but the resounding consensus was that it was a feature associated with Machine Training in Project Cortex.
