Document Sets and View Limit of 5000 Items
I have a library of mining equipment files that I plan on using document sets for. However, there are over 7500 files to be migrated into this library. How will the limit for views be affected? Should I break the library into two separate libraries?
- SharePoint Online supports over 5k pretty easily now. I have a library with 15k+ and growing and It works fine. Performance can be sluggish sometimes browsing into the library, but once you start filtering it works fine. You might have to add a couple indexes for filters but overall it works fine.
