Document Library Web Part Not Displaying All Files in a Folder

I do not have an answer for your occasional bug. However, would it be possible to insert a quick link to your document library folder instead?
Allow the users to navigate to the folder directly. Within that folder, you could add "pinned" documents that get highlighted, and i personally think it looks very good.
Another option, maybe the highlighted content web part works more "securely"?
