Document Library modern web part downloads document
I have a modern page with the modern web part to show a document library. The document library has an .xsd document in it. When I click on the document it is downloaded to my machine to open it. If I go directly to the document library and click on the same document it is opened in the browser. I'm guessing the answer is "because that's how the web part works" but is there any way to get it to open in the browser through the modern document library web part?
- It appears the web part is using the old Document library reference, so it most likely needs to be updated if it's even available yet to point to the new library references from spfx to access the latest Document library that has the new file viewing rendering support. Probably need to go to feedback button and let them know.
