Document library 'edit all' on document covers whole screen

Hi everyone,

Since last week suddenly when I open a document in a document library and clicking 'Edit all' it opens on the complete width of the screen. This is not very friendly if data from the doc has to be filled in the fields.

Is this perhaps a design implementation? Or has anyone else encountered this already? I only have this in document libraries and not in lists.
