Document Content Type Template in Modern Document Library

Are you seeing or no the Content Types gallery access in the site settings group?
Juan - ...Just following up...any idea if there is an answer to my original question; I just need to decide soon whether to continue to pursue my current road or try carving out a different path.

- Well, I see you have access to the Content Type gallery so you should be able to create your custom content types from there and in the case of Document Content Types, add a template to them with no access denied errors. If you are having these errors, I suggest to open a support ticket because in my opinion those errors are not correct
