- Documents can be protected via permissions and further by Azure RMS.
Yes but both of them are based on usual security (groups\granular for user). What if an organization wants to protect docs reflecting their geography, roles, and any other rule that make the groups number absolutely unacceptable to be maintened?
- That's not an option in SharePoint. You'd have to build a custom process which populates groups which you can then apply permission to specific locations in SharePoint.
