Creating a list with unique creators and easy look up for users
Hi Everyone,
I want to create a list with following requirements:
- Enforce unique values in the Created By column: I've tried to do this to ensure each community member can only create 1 entry in the list per person, but there is no option to enforce unique values in the Created By column.
- I want the list to display who is competent in doing what what specific tasks. For example, if in the search bar a user types "Tire Change", the list will return values of everyone who can change tires. What is the best way to go about this?

For #1, you can't change anything with the "Created By" column but you can create your own person column that requires information and enforces unique values.
For #2, I would consider using the out-of-the-box filter feature.

- Yes, but the custom "CreatedBy" value NEEDS to be filled by the user (who can define somebody else). Whereas the standard "Created By" column is automatically filled by sharepoint, which absolutely prevent from 2 creations by a same user...
