create an alternate left navigation where people can pick and choose pages for each page.

I am having a flat structure of sites where i have have pages libraries. I have migrated the pages to the Pages libraries however if i want to group the aspx pages with some sort of a classification and create an alternative to the left navigation and display it.

What are my options?
