Conditional Formatting in Sharepoint List based on hidden column items

Hi all,

I'm facing the following issue and don't still couldn't find any solution:

  • I made a conditional formatting of the lists-lines based on items on the column "A"
  • now I want to hide the column "A". After it, the conditional formatting doesn't work. It works only if the column isn't hidden.

Do you know the way I can hide the column and the formatting works?

Thank you in advance!
Best regards

Dimitrij

Dimitrij_P columns need to be visible for formatting to work.

Hi Rob and thank you for your reply.

That's pitty, but I was afraid of it.

Maybe a goot innovation proposal to Microsoft. It'll give more flexibility with leaner views.

      Best regards
