Compatibility Issues between SharePoint Online and Microsoft Edge

Up until recently, I've been having some issues in using and working with SharePoint online via Microsoft Edge.  It is starting to become annoying.  First when accessing the document library in modern view, the documents folders or files don't always show up.  The page is constantly having to be refreshed in order for it to show the content.  This issue doesn't happen on IE11 or Chrome.

 

Second, when editing a SharePoint online page in Microsoft Edge is has become problematic as well where everything doesn't load either -- the web parts are there but the content are not visible.  Again, we don't experience this issue in IE11 and Chrome. 

 

 

I even tried clearing out the browser cache and cookies, that doesn't make a difference.

 

So, is there a compatibility issue between Microsoft Edge and SharePoint online?

    ChrisFicek our company uses SharePoint as the intranet and I can confirm that some things which work fine with Google Chrome doesn't work with MS Edge (96.0.1054.53).

    For example some forms (.aspx) doesn't load at all.

     

    I'd like to keep my private and work profiles separate and that's why I use Chrome with personal profile and Edge with the work profile as it's easier that way. However, I might need to rethink this, if Edge doesn't work nicely with Microsoft services (which sounds super weird).

    I have also experienced random non-loading of page content with Edge and have taken the lead from many Microsoft presenters I see using Chrome, or I use IE 11.

    AFAIK, there is not a compatibility issue with Edge and modern SPO should work well there....I personally use Edge to access my corporate tenat and It works as expected

      jcgonzalezmartin- Have you ever used the Excel Web Access web part in SPO classic pages? I have used it on several pages and they all worked across IE11, Chrome & Edge but as of last week they no longer display on Edge but work fine on the other two. This has become very annoying. Any help you could provide would be awesome!

        Running into a issue with Edge and SP as well, but this is with logins.

        We have several people testing Edge, but some of them have login issues after a while.
        At some point they cannot log in anymore, and don't even get the regular username/password option when accessing the website.
        They immediately get the 'Sorry you don't have access. Approval awaiting' message.

        edit: cleaning up the cache will return the login screens, but the error message is still there after trying to log in.

        Resetting passwords for this user will not always help.
        It's really annoying, as in FF or Chrome there's no issues with this.
