Communication Site & Images as a link

Having the ability to add any size image as a hyper link is standard option in web design, however it isn’t available in modern communication site or pages.  This is a killer for us to be able to move towards modern site development.   Has anyone found a work around that doesn't require code?

    Hi Melody,

     

    I have the same issue. I really need to use images as links and it's really frustrating to see that we can't do it. If someone know how to fix it, please share with us.

      I put in a change request to MS. Recommend you do the same.

      FYI you can use the Hero part single tile and get the picture link, however that defaults to the one size. If you want to have say a rectangle image hero part won't work for that.

      That why I put in the change request.
