Comms or Team Site
I've got 4TB of 'mixed' onprem data that doesn't fit into our various departmental SharePoint Team sites so was thinking of creating a SharePoint site with 30 odd libraries and assigning the various groups of users permissions to the specific Library. Just wandering if a comms site or teams site is best. My thoughts were a Comms site as we are only looking at storing files and folders not using any of the features of a SharePoint Teams site.
Any thoughts ?

i recommend a Team Site (not group connected), it's only a SharePoint site, without M365 Groups-Components, you can view the navigation on top or on left side.
