Column Width Resize Working sporadically
The SharePoint column width resize is not working consistently. Anyone else encountering this?
We resize by dragging the separator in the column, or by double-clicking on the separator in the column. Now, if we try to drag, it thinks we're selecting something on the screen. Double-clicking does nothing. About every 20th try, the double click will work. We're encountering this in Edge and Chrome.
Adding more information to make it clearer ... This is the list of files, in a document library. The name column is too narrow. See the attachment for an example.

Same issue reported this week. I'm almost 100% I was able to resize the column width at some point but now, if I hold down the arrows to increase the column width, it wants to select as opposed to increase the width. It makes the document library viewing very limited in terms of seeing the document name. Hope MS fixes this soon.

Is Microsoft aware of this?I did not put in a ticket for this.

I've just had this reported to me this morning. Checked different browsers, trying to see if I can spot the behaviour in the developer console but nothing so far.
