Choice column limit?
In a SharePoint list I have used a choice column to prevent the entries from being spelled differently when entering, this is to aid in data analysis. I have just tried to enter a choice, but it is not available whilst editing in grid view, but is available in the side panel editing view. Is there a maximum number of choices available?

Thanks for the reply. I think the issue what I was experiencing was due to the browser cache being 'full'. Ihave found many times when anomalies happen cleaning the browser cache seems to fix the issue or at least help it.

Was your issue a temporary issue or a time lag? Otherwise you can use managed metadata and user can choice a value from a term set.
