Changing Country for data storage

I remember seeing an Ignite 2017 presentation that discussed some new functionality that would provide the ability to move OneDrive and SPO site collections to a data center in another country. I can't find any announcements since then about this capability. 

Does anyone know the status?

    It was rolling into early preview at ignite, but it's available, you need to contact Microsoft to get it going not something you can turn on yourself ATM.
