Can't add properties to files
We are using SharePoint online and the following issue popped up this morning. Wondering if anyone else is seeing it before I raise a ticket.
When a file is uploaded to one of our Libraries to goes into a checked out condition - normal.
The user and the SharePoint admin is unable to edit the properties for the Metadata - the option is grayed out. Therefore we cannot check the item in or add the Metadata.
Anyone else seeing this???

The first is is when I click on the elpissis. This is as far as I can go. The second elpissis is not clickable.
The second is when I try to do a check-in as the Admin. I expect this as the required Metadata isn't applied.
In addition the More selection at the top of the list is unavaible
I've reproduced your problem.
For documents things work fine but for emails there seems to be an issue with the hoverpanel. I noticed that you are using the classic look for the library. If you use the modern look then youcan edit properties for emails as well.
