Cannot use Sharepoint Library Template in Teams

Question

Hello,&nbsp;&nbsp;i created a Sharepoint Library with a custom Template. Then i moved the library into a Sharepoint Site. When i create a File online, everything works as planned. But now we try to embedd this Site as a Teams Tab, and there the custom template isn't working, precisely it do not open the file. The template is saved in the Standard Folder of the Templates

Hi&nbsp;senior_freshman&nbsp;,&nbsp;I wouldn't bother using the SharePoint tab, its a bit useless. It has been built as a Read only view of the site. What this actually means in reality is that you cannot create any documents and open some documents. Half an implementation if you ask me.&nbsp;&nbsp;Limited work arounds but Microsoft will tell you to use the document library tab which does have all the functionality. Andrew Hodges&nbsp;Thank you for the quick answer but this doesnt resolve my problem. Creating a Tab with a Sharepoint Library got the same problem: The custom Template can't be used.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
