BUG: Site links in the header of news articles not correct for subsites.
We have implemented the Hub site feature for all of our sites. However some of the older sites are subsites of top level sites that are part of the 'spokes' of the hub wheel. All news articles originating from the subsites have a link to the site that originated the article. This link incorrectly points to the parent site rather than the subsite.

- Sub-sites to my knowledge aren't supported for hub sites, this is why your seeing the behavior. They were talking about possibly looking at some of this if they receive enough feedback, but Microsoft's direction is site collections as hub (sub) sites, sub-sites features aren't guaranteed when looking at modernUI related items.
Seems like it would be an easy enough fix to point to the right "web". I think when they implemented, they just missed this, so was hoping to bring it to their attention here.
