automatic notification mail after user requested membership of permission group
Hi everyone,
I would like to set an automatic notification mail for a certain permission group in Sharepoint 2013.
I wish to inform users about if they try to request membership for one permission group, then they should receive an e-mail with the following content:
"your membership for this group can be requested by one of the members" or something like that.
Is there a built in function to set this option?

You could customize the access request page for the same message

But afaik there is not any parameter in rest api you can look into to verify if user has requested access for a specific sharepoint group and set automatic notification.
