- 2mmyTCopper ContributorThe column is Project ID and that should get auto tagged from the folder name. I added a document set and made a term set/managed metadata named ProjectID. Where or how do I add the rules/metadata to make this work?
- anthony tudorCopper ContributorHi, I'm not sure how easily achievable this is with how sharepoint interperates folders. You could use create a workflow to create the folder name as a variable, then upate a hidden 'foldername' column that you could use in a lookup column but you would still have to choose from a list of folder names. Have you considered using document sets instead? You can apply metadata to these, plus all documents are visibly part of the same 'folder' much more so than standard folders :) Hope this helps, Anthony
