Associating a site with a hub site will not show old news pages inside the hub site
I am not sure if what i am facing is how Hub sites and News pages are supposed to work, now i have the following scenario:-
1. I have a modern team site which have 3 news pages (A, B & C).
2. then i associated this modern team site with a hub site.
3. and inside the hub site, i added a News web part and i specify to show all the news from "all sites in the hub", as follow:-
but i have noted that the 3 news pages (A,B & C) did not show inside the Hub site's web part. but if i create a new News page inside the modern team site (named D), it will show inside the hub site's web part. so can i conclude that existing news pages (before associating the site with a hub) will not be shown inside the Hub news web part?
- Usually and index deal. Try editig one of the missing pages and then just publishing again so it triggers an index, see if it shows up.

- Just try to edit one of those news articles and publish it, Wait 5-10 minutes, if it doesn't show up, then what you want to do is go check that site the news is on, make sure it's not a group connected site. If it is, make sure you are listed on the office 365 members for that connected group, wait 10 then check. Same for the hub site itself. It's most likely going to be one of those 3 things.
- Also review those three pages are news pages and not just modern pages
